Have You Been Double Crossed Today?

The Guerilla Poetics Project

Partly because I’m tired of looking at Rosie’s smiling, dead ass every time I come here, partly because it beats doing my laundry, and more importantly because it means so much to me I’d like to turn you onto:

was there ever
a time when
guerillas wrote
poems?
or up until
now
has it always
been prose?

the reason
i ask
is that someone who
knows how
to speak to large
mammals
– the same one who
knows how to
listen, as well (should
there come
a reply) – confessed
to an intimate friend
once
that none of
the primates
whose works she
had studied could grok
the
fine art
of the
line
break.

Father Luke goes like this:

The Guerilla Poetics Project is the most
rockingest fucking thing I have ever found.

These guys are my fucking heroes, and as close to a cause that I have ever
wanted to tie myself to.

It’s all over for this kid - KaPow! went my head.
