Have You Been Double Crossed Today?

Suddenly Susan

Dr Zen alerted me to her. Susan Boyle, he said is one of us.

The good thing about Susan is that she will always be one of us, and no matter how much she rubs elbows with the upper crust Susan Boyle will never get crumbs on her sleeve.

Here she is advancing in the finals. The world is watching now, and the little guys have not forgotten. She really doesn’t belong, and in time she will have her own niché right back home, or wherever she’s most comfortable. Looking at her I know that despite it all, she still sweeps her own kitchen floor, and swears in hushed tones on the way home with a car full of stuff she never intended to buy, knowing she forgot the one thing she went to the store for.

She is, in Dr Zen’s words, one of us.
