Have You Been Double Crossed Today?

Above all else I want the truth

“Above all else I want the truth.”

That’s a quote of mine.

I can’t recall when I first started saying it, or when I first allowed it to appear in print. It’s something I feel in the cells of my being.

Tonight I’m going to see Rob Zombie’s Halloween, thanks to an anonymous gift.

Rob Zombie has promised to bring Michael Meyers back to the scary mother fucker status he was before poor old Michael Meyers jumped the shark. Rob Zombie is cool that way. Rob Zombie preserves the faith.

The truth is that Michel Meyers is a psychopath, and we should be scared of him. Michael is violently out of control, and he doesn’t know the difference between right and wrong. Be afraid, right?

If you haven’t seen An Inconvenient Truth, make some time available to see it, because Al Gore has done for the Earth what Rob Zombie has done for the movie Halloween. He brings consciousness of our planet into the status of cool. Sort of like before poor old environmentalism jumped the shark. Al Gore is cool that way.

The tag line for An Inconvenient Truth is that there is nothing scarier than the truth.

I like that.

This is a clip from An Inconvenient Truth.
