Google plus. You may have heard of it. It’s a social website, like MySpace, where the elite meet and greet.
In the world of Apples and Oranges, Google+ is Microsoft, and facebook is Apple.
I was invited to try Google plus. I signed up with my real name, using my full first and last name. I was on for a day, and then my account was suspended. Eventually I fear my entire account will be deleted. You know, my gmail account, where I connect with the world.
Which really won’t matter to me. I have three domains, and I can always route my mail to my computer. But it will be a nuisance, changing my email account information to all the people I do business with.
Google is really alienating people. Look at this link where people who have had google accounts, some of them for years, are being denied access to their accounts, and having their accounts suspended, in some cases simply because they don’t have american sounding names. Really. If you’re from Viet Nam you’re fucked.
