Have You Been Double Crossed Today?

Down This Crooked Road: Modern Poetry From The Road Less Traveled is a collection of poets, and poetry, available at Amazon dot com and at Lummox press. I mention Amazon only because I am included in the collection, and it’s like WoW. But if you are going to buy this book, buy it from Lummox Press where the guy who publishes it stands to make a few coins from the sale, rather than buying it from the WoW place.

Available at Amazon by clicking here. (Boooooo! Hissss!!!)

Available at Lummox Press by clicking here. ( YaY! YaY! YaY!)

Now. There is this man I admire, who just happens to write. Sometimes he writes things to amuse himself, which I really enjoy reading. And other times he writes for pay. He’s an editor, and makes his living doing freelance editing.

I’ve admired him since I first read him many years ago, and I greatly admire him today. I dedicated my first book to him. And now Dr Zen is a published author, and I hope to see more from him soon.

Please go here to see what I am talking about:

Dr Zen in China

Writers write. Someday, maybe the world will support it’s storytellers, poets, and dreamers. Until then we have books. Written by writers.

Writers write. I really don’t know what else to say.

They said it rains here. . .

. . .and they said I might hate it. But no. I don’t hate it. It’s raining as I write. Big drops, the size of large coins, and they’re plopping outside my window on sunflowers that have grown fat in the light of day, and the rain is wetting corn stalks turned brown from the heat, and picked clean of corn long ago. I love the rain, and I love my new home.

It rains in Oregon, much more than California. And I am in love.

Feels like home

Portland, Oregon: Chance of rain increasing with a likelihood of rain on Sunday.

Note: I really like the cold and the rain.
